I'm Alexandrea (Alex for short). I’m a Clinical doctoral student during the day and a photographer by night. Hailing from the Motor City (Detroit), I have made my way across several states to land in Columbia, SC (at least for now). I love cute coffee shops, reading, loving on family and friends, reading, loving on my fur babies…oh, did I mention reading?
I fell in love with photography as a kid, but never really thought it was an option. I love capturing the essence of life, creating stories, and making memories that transcend the moment. With my hectic daytime schedule, it’s easy to become overwhelmed and lose sight of what’s important. My photography allows me to take a step back to see the beauty of life and remind myself to stop and smell the roses.
I want my photography to be a tool for love, for memories, for joy, for connecting, and for creating hope.
